JERUSALEM, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- Israel will establish a new service and maintenance center for India's air defense systems, the government company Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) said on Wednesday.

The IAI and India's state-owned aerospace and defense company Bharat Electronics Limited have entered into a memorandum of understating (MoU) for collaboration on establishing the new center in India.

The center will provide product life cycle support including repair and maintenance services for the air defense systems in India.

IAI has also signed a strategic collaboration MoU with a focus on unmanned aerial vehicles with India's corporations Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and Dynamatic Technologies Limited.

Established in 1953, IAI is considered a global leader in the supply of technologies and systems in the domains of land, air, sea, outer space and cyber.
