Japan's PM arrives in Tehran for talks on Iran-US frictions

TEHRAN, June 12 (Xinhua) -- Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe arrived in Iran's capital Tehran on Wednesday to help ease tensions between Iran and the United States, Press TV reported.

During his two-day visit to Iran, Abe will meet Iranian President Hassan Rouhani. He is also scheduled to meet with the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Thursday.
