AMMAN, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- King Abdullah II of Jordan received the COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday, according to a statement by the Royal Court.

Jordan's Prince El Hassan bin Talal and Crown Prince Al Hussein also received the vaccine, the statement said.

On Wednesday, Jordan commenced a COVID-19 vaccination campaign with the priority for vulnerable groups and frontline health workers.
