Kazakhstan lifts state of emergency in some regions

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has decreed to lift the state of emergency in the regions of West Kazakhstan, North Kazakhstan and Pavlodar, the presidential office said on Friday.

The state of emergency will be lifted in the abovementioned regions starting at 7:00 a.m. on 13 January 2022.
