"Moon will depart at 8:40 a.m. local time, using a direct flight from Seoul's Seongnam Air Base, and is scheduled to arrive in Pyongyang at 10:00 a.m. local time." South Korean presidential chief of staff Im Jong-seok told a press meeting on Monday.

Im said Moon's first meeting with Kim will be held later Tuesday, followed by an official welcome dinner that could possibly be hosted by Kim. The two leaders will hold their second meeting on Wednesday.

Im also noted that Moon's visit will focus on three agenda items, which include improving and developing inter-Korea relations, mediating and promoting North Korea-U.S. talks for denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula as well as reducing military tensions and ending the threat of war.

"Just until recently, denuclearization had been an agenda item for talks between the North Korea and the United States," Im said, noting that denuclearization is a key issue at the Moon-Kim summit.

This upcoming leaders'summit will mark the third of its kind between Moon and Kim, with their first two meetings held on April 27 and May 26 in the border village of Panmunjom.
