The Lancang-Mekong cooperation media summit will be held on July 1-3 by the Lao Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism in cooperation with the Chinese newspaper People's Daily in Laos.

The meeting will be held under the theme "Cooperation in Lancang-Mekong Community for a Bright Future."

The participants are expected to evaluate the implementation of a joint declaration of the Lancang-Mekong cooperation media summit signed in Beijing last year and exchange views on strengthening cooperation in media, especially in new media and tourism promotion.
