Bangkok (People’s Daily) - One new coronavirus case was confirmed in Laos as of Sunday, according to a statement from the country’s health ministry. The new coronavirus case is a student who had close contact with other infected cases.
The total number of infections has risen to 19 and all of the patients have been hospitalized. No deaths have been reported yet.
The Laos government on last Friday restricted traffic and activities to control the pandemic, and banned people from entering or leaving the country until April 19.
