breakingnews 新刊头.jpgAn earthquake measuring 6.0 magnitude struck the Pacific coast of Mexico on Friday evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). No damage has been reported so far.

The quake hit 44 km west-southwest of San Patricio in the country's western Jalisco state with an estimated depth of 24.8 km, the USGS reported.

Mexico, one of the world's most seismically active regions, has suffered a series of powerful earthquakes in recent months. In September 2017, a 7.1-magnitude earthquake killed more than 300 people.
