Malaysia reports 131 new COVID-19 cases, death toll rises to 62

People' s Daily (Bangkok) - Malaysia reported 131 new cases and one death related to the novel coronavirus on Monday,  bringing the total number of infections to 3,793 and 62 deaths, according to the country’s health ministry.

So far, 1,241 patients have recovered from the disease. 102 are in critical condition.

Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin unveiled a special stimulus package worth RM10 billion (US$2.3 billion) aimed at small and medium sized enterprises in a bid to soften the impact of the movement control order.
