Bangkok (People’s Daily) - Malaysia reported 172 new cases and no deaths related to the novel coronavirus on Monday, bringing the total number of infections to 7,417, and deaths to 115, according to the country’s health ministry.

5,979 patients have recovered from the disease, and 8 remain in critical condition.

Of the 172 new cases, 5 were imported cases while 167 were local transmissions and of the local transmissions, 159 were detected among foreigners, with 112 cases at immigration detention centers.
