Malaysia reports 36 new COVID-19 cases, bringing total to 6,855

Bangkok (People’s Daily) - Malaysia reported 36 new cases and no deaths related to the novel coronavirus on Friday, bringing the total number of infections to 6,855,  and deaths to 112, according to the country’s health ministry.

5,439 patients have recovered from the disease, and 14 remain in critical condition.

The conditional movement control order (MCO) in Malaysia had been extended for another four weeks until June 9.
