Bangkok (People’s Daily) - Malaysia reported 67 new cases and no deaths related to the novel coronavirus on Sunday, bringing the total number of infections to 6,656 and deaths to 108, according to the country’s health ministry.

So far, 5,025 patients have recovered from the disease, and 18 remain in critical condition.

The movement control order (MCO) will be extended to June 9, said Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on Sunday, marking the fifth extension since it was implemented on March 18. The fifth phase, called a conditional MCO, allows almost all economic sectors to reopen.
