Malaysia reports 94 new COVID-19 cases, bringing total to 5,945

Bangkok (People’s Daily) - Malaysia reported 94 new cases and no deaths related to the novel coronavirus on Wednesday, bringing the total number of infections to 5,945, according to the country’s health ministry.

4,087 patients have recovered from the disease, and 40 remain in critical condition.

Economic sectors in the country were allowed to carry on business at full capacity starting Wednesday. Companies must, however, comply with the established standard operating procedure in their respective sectors, International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali said.
