Five years after sustaining a life-threatening injury to the head while he was skiing with his son in the French Alps in 2013, former Formula One legend Michael Schumacher’s condition has reportedly improved.

New details have been released that Schumacher will reportedly be flying to Dallas, Texas soon for treatment at a neurological clinic and this is only possible if he is “not bedridden or surviving on tubes,” according to the Daily Mail.

"We have a lot of experience with patients who are suffering this kind of trauma," said an employee of the unnamed clinic, according to German publication Bravo. "There is probably no clinic in Europe that treats as many cases as we do."
