Morocco suspends all flights with Italy amid COVID-19 concerns

RABAT, March. 10 (Xinhua) -- Moroccan government announced early Tuesday the suspension of all flights to and from Italy, amid COVID-19 concerns.

The suspension will remain in effect until further notice, said the government in a statement.

Some countries in the Middle East have imposed bans on foreign flights or travels as they tightened precautionary measures against the novel coronavirus.

Also on Tuesday, Morocco confirmed its third case of COVID-19, health minister said in a statement.

The case is a French tourist who arrived Saturday in Marrakech of central Morocco, the statement added.
