Myanmar's Aung San Suu Kyi returned to a court in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday to face charges of incitement and flouting COVID-19 restrictions, her lawyer said, a day after failing to appear on health grounds.

Suu Kyi's ruling on charges of incitement under Section 505(b) of the Penal Code will be announced next week while her other trial of an alleged offense under a natural disaster management law was adjourned after prosecution witnesses failed to appear.
