Myanmar sees sharp increase in coronavirus cases

Yangon (People’s Daily) – Myanmar’s Ministry of Health and Sports announced on Monday that the country has confirmed 11 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number to 52.

As testing methods continue to improve, 92 specimens were examined Monday, and 11 indicated infections. The infected people all had close contact with diagnosed patients.
