wo ships of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Standing Maritime Group 2 (SNMG2) on Monday arrived at Ukraine's Black Sea port of Odessa, the port's press service said.

The HMCS Toronto of the Royal Canadian Navy and the ESPS Santa Maria of the Spanish Navy arrived at the Ukrainian port after patrolling the Black Sea, according to a statement on the Odessa port website.

During their visit, the crews of the vessels will hold talks with the representatives of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and local authorities. Both ships will be opened to visitors for several hours.

The two vessels and several other ships of the SNMG2 entered the Black Sea on March 28.

The NATO vessels are set to participate in joint exercises with ships of the Ukrainian Navy and Georgian Navy named "Sea Shield 2019."
