Nepal's COVID-19 cases rise to 13,248 with 476 new infections

Bangkok (People's Daily) - Nepal on Monday confirmed 476 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 13,248 since the virus first arrived in the country in January.

A total of 10,085 patients remain hospitalized, 3,134 have recovered and returned home, and 29 have died from complications related to the disease, according to Nepal's Ministry of Public Health.

There are still 57,368 people in Nepal in quarantine.

In order to prevent and control the epidemic of new pneumonia, the Nepalese government announced the implementation of curfew on June 19.
