Abuja (People’s Daily) -- According to data released Tuesday by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), 6 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the country.

The total of COVID-19 cases has now reached 42, of which 2 cases have been discharged, and 1 died.

A 67-year-old Nigerian man who had been suffering from cancer and diabetes has died in isolation after returning to Nigeria from getting treatment in the UK.
