Bangkok (People's Daily) - There have been no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Laos for 12 consecutive days, according to a statement from the country’s health ministry. 

A total of 19 cases have been confirmed and 15 of the patients have been hospitalized. 4 have recovered and returned home. No deaths have been reported yet. Since April 13, Laos added none for the 12th consecutive day.

Lao Airlines will resume domestic flights on May 8.
