No new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Laos for 15 consecutive days

Bangkok (People's Daily) - There have been no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Laos for 15 consecutive days, according to a statement from the country’s health ministry.

A total of 19 cases have been confirmed, and 12 of the patients have been hospitalized. Seven have recovered and returned home. No deaths have been reported yet.

If the national epidemic in Laos is under control on May 3, schools will be reopen on May 11.
