The NYSE first announced it would delist the Chinese tech giants on New Year’s Eve, invoking an executive order signed in November 2020, but it reversed the decision four days later.

Chinese Foreign Ministry previously blamed the US government for abusing its state power to suppress Chinese firms, accusing it of serious violation of market competition principles and international trade rules.
