One person died and two are injured when a train hit a car one hour after midnight on Saturday at a crossing near the city of Zivinice, located some 105 km northeast of the capital Sarajevo.

A 35-year old man who was sitting on back seat of the car of Mercedes brand died, while driver and another passenger were injured, the Ministry of Interior of the Tuzla Canton confirmed to Srna News Agency.

After the medical treatment, the driver was discharged from hospital, while the injured woman stayed at the Tuzla University Clinical Center.
