Philippine coronavirus cases rise to 28,459, 661 new infections

Bangkok (People’s Daily) – The Philippine Department of Health (DOH) on Friday reported 661 new coronavirus cases, bringing the official tally to 28,459.

Officials said 7,378 infected people have recovered, and 1,130 have died.

The Philippines has implemented a national blockade policy since March 17 to prevent the spread of the epidemic, and has gradually lifted restrictions since June.
