Bangkok (People's Daily) - The Philippines Department of Health (DOH) on Monday reported 630 new coronavirus cases, to bring the official tally to 30,682.

Officials said 8,143 infected people have recovered, and 1,177 have died.

The Philippines has implemented a national blockade policy since March 17 to prevent the spread of the epidemic. It started gradually lifting outbreak restrictions starting in June.
