Philippines's coronavirus cases rise to 25,930 with 539 new infections

Bangkok (People’s Daily) – The Philippines Department of Health (DOH) on Sunday reported 539 new coronavirus cases, to bring the official tally to 25,930.

Officials said 5,954 infected people have recovered, and 1,088 have died.

The Philippines has implemented a national blockade policy since March 17 to prevent the spread of the epidemic. It started gradually lifting outbreak restrictions starting in June.
