Police searching for possible active shooter in Canada's Nunavut

OTTAWA, April 25 (Xinhua) -- Police are currently dealing with a possible active shooter in an unfolding dynamic situation in Cape Dorset of the Canadian territory of Nunavut, said a news release by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Saturday.

After getting reports of a possible gun shot, Cape Dorset police asked residents to stay at home, and tried to locate the suspect.

No casualty has been reported.
