Qatar confirmed on Sunday that it had signed a currency swap agreement with Turkey to provide liquidity and support for financial stability, according to Reuters.

Qatar's central bank made the announcement on Sunday, several days after Doha promised to give Turkey $15 billion in support.

The agreement will establish a two-way currency exchange line, the Qatar Central Bank said.
