Rail freight between China and the DPRK border cities resumed operations, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said Monday.
The corridor has been suspended for a period of time due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
After friendly consultations between the two sides, Zhao said, rail freight between the Chinese border city of Dandong and the DPRK's northwestern city of Sinuiju resumed operations.
Both sides will work on the basis of pandemic prevention and safety, promoting normal trade exchanges between China and the DPRK, Zhao said.
