Residents salvaged belongings and cleared mud and debris after a flood triggered by heavy rains from Typhoon Goni in Batangas Province, the Philippines.

Typhoon Goni, the strongest typhoon in the world this year, swept across the south of the Philippines' main island of Luzon on Sunday, displacing over 390,000 people and killing 16 people.
