Security patrol attacked by armed group in Tunisia

TUNIS, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- A security patrol was attacked by an armed group Thursday evening in Kasserine province in west Tunisia, the spokesman of Tunisian Interior Ministry told Xinhua.

Sofiene Zaak said three armed individuals in two motorcycles shot at a patrol belonging to the security units and fled. The attackers did not kill any security forces.

Zaak confirmed that it was a terrorist attack. One civilian was injured in the attack and was transferred to Kasserine Hospital for treatment.
