Bangkok (People's Daily) - Singapore reported 142 new coronavirus cases on Friday, bringing the total number of infections to 41,615, said its Ministry of Health.

Most of Friday's cases were work pass holders residing in foreign worker dormitories.

As of Friday, 32,712 patients have recovered and two remain in critical condition, while 26 deaths have been reported.

Singapore enters Phase 2 of its reopening after the COVID-19 "circuit breaker" on Friday, during which most activities and businesses would be allowed to resume. This includes dining in at food and beverage outlets. A limit on gatherings to no more than five people will remain in place. Tables must also be spaced a meter apart.
