Singapore reports 214 COVID-19 cases, raising total to 40,818

Bangkok (People's Daily) - Singapore reported 214 new coronavirus cases on Monday, bringing the total number of infections to 40,818, said its Ministry of Health.

Most of Monday's cases are work pass holders residing in foreign worker dormitories.

As of Monday , 29589 patients have recovered and 2 remain in critical condition. 26 deaths have been reported.

Singapore entered its first phase of reopening after the “circuit breaker” period. Businesses that operate in settings with lower transmission risks were allowed to reopen, and some students were back at school.
