Singapore reports 233 COVID-19 cases, nationwide total surpasses 2,500

Bangkok (People's Daily) - Singapore reported 233 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases on Sunday, bringing the nationwide number of infections to 2,532, said Singapore’s Ministry of Health.

Among the new cases, 141 were linked to foreign employee dormitories, while 167 cases remain unlinked, pending contact tracing.

Seven new clusters were discovered, including one linked to the Black Tap restaurant at Marina Bay Sands, and another connected to a McDonald's fast-food restaurant. 

MOH officials said 32 fully recovered patients had been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities, bringing the total number of recoveries to 560.
