Among the new cases, most were linked to clusters at foreign worker dormitories, and 122 cases are currently unlinked, pending contact tracing.

At a media conference held on Tuesday, it said the number of cases among foreign workers, especially those in dormitories, rose sharply in recent days. Eight dormitories have been declared isolation areas. More than 1,500 people who have been transferred out of dormitories deemed as isolation areas have been tested over the weekend, and about 5,000 workers are expected to be tested in the next few days.
