Bangkok (People's Daily) - Singapore reported 344 new coronavirus cases on Saturday, bringing the total number of infections to 37,527, said its Ministry of Health.

Most of Saturday's cases are work pass holders residing in foreign worker dormitories.

As of Saturday, 24,209 patients have recovered and four remain in critical condition. Twenty-four deaths have been reported.

Singapore entered its first phase of reopening after the “circuit breaker” period. Businesses that operate in settings with lower transmission risks were allowed to reopen, and some students were back at school.
