Singapore reports 40 new COVID-19 cases

Bangkok (People’s Daily) - Forty new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Singapore on Friday, bringing the total number of infections to 385, according to the Ministry of Health of Singapore.

Among the newly reported cases, 30 were imported and most of them had been to the UK in the past 14 days.

All events and gatherings with 250 or more participants are expected to be suspended until June 30. Events with fewer than 250 people, or venues accessible to the public such as restaurants and cinemas, are also required to implement measures to ensure separation of at least one meter between patrons,said Health Minister Gan Kim Yong at a press conference.
