Singapore reports 799 COVID-19 cases, raising total to 14,423

Bangkok (People's Daily) - Singapore reported 799 new coronavirus cases on Monday, bringing the total number of infections to 14,423, said its Ministry of Health.

Most of the new cases were foreign workers. 14 cases are Singaporeans or permanent residents. 

Some 1,060 patients have recovered from the infection. 22 patients are in critical condition, and 12 have died.

Singapore extended its COVID-19 "circuit breaker" period by four weeks until Jun 1.
