Singapore reports 931 coronavirus cases, raising total to 13,624

Bangkok (People's Daily) - Singapore reported 931 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, bringing the total number of infections to 13,624, said its Ministry of Health.

Most of the new cases were foreign workers, but 15 were Singaporeans or permanent residents. 

So far, 1,002 patients have recovered from the infection, 24 patients are in critical condition, and 12 have died.

Singapore extended its COVID-19 "circuit breaker" period by four weeks until June 1.
