Singapore reports biggest single day spike in COVID-19 cases

Bangkok (People’s Daily) - Twenty-three new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Singapore on Tuesday, bringing the total number of infections to 266, said the Ministry of Health of Singapore.

It is the highest number of new cases it recorded in a day so far. As of Tuesday, 114 patients have recovered from the disease and 152 others are still in hospital, most of which are stable or improving, while 14 others in critical condition are being treated in intensive care units.
