OTTAWA, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- A six-seat plane crashed on Wednesday evening, causing fatalities in Kingston, Canada, local media reported.

Emergency rescue crews, including helicopters, are searching for the single-engine aircraft called a "Piper PA-32."

The plane crashed into a forest area in the northwestern part of the city around 6:30 p.m. local time (2330 GMT).
