South Korea reports first imported case of monkeypox

South Korea's epidemic prevention department confirmed the country’s first imported monkeypox infection on Wednesday, according to a report from Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency.

The epidemic prevention department conducted PCR tests on two people suspected of having monkeypox infection on Tuesday, and one of the Korean nationals who came from Germany was determined to be positive.
