The agreement was reached following a round table discussion held among representatives of the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe in Colombo on Tuesday, said the PMD.

According to the PMD, Wickremesinghe presented Sri Lanka's program for economic recovery and growth along with the vision for long-term development.

Sri Lanka's prime minister Dinesh Gunawardena, several ministers and other senior officials also attended the round-table discussion.
