Su Bingtian wins men’s 60 meters in Glasgow

China’s star sprinter Su Bingtian secured his World Indoor Tour victory in the men’s 60 meter dash at the Muller Indoor Grand Prix Glasgow.
“I’m not competing as imagined. Hope to save my best for races in Birmingham, ” Su wrote on social media.
Su clocked 6.59 seconds to top his heat.
The second and third places went to Mike Rodgers in 6.54 seconds and Bryce Robinson in 6.56 seconds.
Su stepped up in 2018, refreshing the Asian record to 6.47 seconds during the 2018 IAAF World Indoor Tour in Karlsruhe, Germany.
Shi Yuhao, a 19-year-old long jumper, leaped 8.13 meters to seize the lead. Huang Changzhou, who finished third at the 2016 World Indoor Championships, settled for second at 7.99 meters.
