Damascus (People's Daily) - On Tuesday, local time, the most updated data released by the Syrian Ministry of Health showed one new recovery from coronavirus infection in Syria.
Up to now, in Syria, there are accumulatively 39 confirmed cases of coronavirus infection, including 6 recoveries and 3 deaths. All cases are in Damascus and its rural surrounds.
Due to the sanctions imposed by Western countries, there is a severe shortage of ventilators in Syria.
In the areas which are packed with refugees, such as the Lukban camp, health conditions are a major concern.
If the pandemic outbreak happens there, it will be devastating, said the Ministry of Health.
