Thailand confirms 89 new COVID-19 cases, 411 in all

Bangkok (People's Daily) - Thailand today confirmed 89 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number to 411 since the virus first arrived in the kingdom in January.

Dr Thaweesilp Wisanuyothin, spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Health, made the announcement at Saturday’s press briefing by the ministry. 366 patients remain hospitalized, 44 have returned home, and one died from complications related to the disease. Most of the new cases are related to previously confirmed cluster cases.
