More than 1,500 patients remain hospitalized,  more than 130 have recovered and returned home, and ten died from complications related to the disease, according to Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health.

The Thai government has no plans to impose a curfew, but last Thursday enforced a state of emergency to ban the entry of foreign travelers and social gatherings.
