Bangkok (People's Daily) - Thailand on Wednesday confirmed 120 new cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus, bringing the total to 1,771 since the virus first arrived in the kingdom in January.
More than 1,400 patients remain hospitalized, more than 340 have recovered and returned home, and twelve died from complications related to the disease, according to Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health.
The Thai government has no plans to impose a curfew but on last Thursday enforced a state of emergency to ban entry of foreign travelers and social gatherings.
