Thailand’s COVID-19 cases top 1,000

Bangkok (People's Daily) - Thailand on Thursday confirmed 111 new cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus, bringing the total to 1,045 since the virus first arrived in the kingdom in January.

Most of the new cases are related to previously confirmed cluster cases, said Ratchada Thanadirek, vice spokesperson of Thai government.

The country also registered four more deaths. Currently, more than 900 patients remain hospitalized, and more than 70 have recovered and returned home.
